Terms of Service

Last updated: [date] · Version 2026-09-draft · Effective for: Cogwire, operated by Navy Octopus Solutions

1. Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you (acting on behalf of the business signing up) and Navy Octopus Solutions ("we", "us"), the operator of Cogwire ("the Service"), registered at [company address], company number [registration number].

2. What the Service does

Cogwire is a multi-tenant, web-based platform for trade businesses to run field operations (jobs, scheduling, checklists, quoting, costing, timesheets) and reads customer and lead data from a CRM you already use (currently HighLevel) through a connection you configure and control.

3. Your account and workspace

You must provide accurate information when registering. You're responsible for everyone you invite into your workspace and for keeping login credentials secure. One workspace belongs to one business; each person belongs to one workspace.

4. Your CRM connection

You grant Cogwire access to your CRM by entering credentials you control. We store them encrypted and use them only to read and, for the specific actions described in our documentation, write data back to your CRM on your instruction. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, Integrations.

5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

New workspaces get a free trial of the plan they choose. A card is needed to start it, and is first charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, at one price for the plan however many people use it. You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. Full pricing is on our pricing page.

6. Data and your content

You own the data you and your CRM connection bring into Cogwire. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to train anything beyond operating the Service for you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to store or process data you don't have the right to hold, don't attempt to access another workspace's data, and don't use the Service in a way that disrupts it for other tenants.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. [Support channel and response-time commitments to be added.]

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate a workspace for a material breach of these terms, with notice where practical.

10. Liability

[Standard limitation-of-liability clause to be added by counsel, appropriate for the jurisdiction below.]

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.

13. Contact
